Like all Civic line bags, the CHZ26 features durable and weather resistant textiles. The 3D patterning and the SHIFT laptop patterning makes the bag extremely comfortable to carry, even with the laptop inside. The shoulder straps by Zote have even density and long lasting compression resistance. The YKK Raquet coil zippers are precision engineered to meet the toughest performance requirements.
The laptop slot is suspended for impact protection and the contour patterning keeps the pocket flat against the back panel and out of the way. It expands to accept different sized devices up to 17" Macbook Pro. It holds devices securely while allowing back panel flex for comfortable laptop carry. Integrated foam pad provides device protection against other objects in the bag and the finger loop allows easier handling and loading.
Exterior side pockets are built from hard-wearing 4-way stretch woven for easy access to gloves, 1 liter water bottles, sunglasses, etc. It keeps contents close and expands for larger items, while the fold-over construction reduces catching. Elastic inside top edge is protected from abrasion, helps contain items and maintain a low-profile. Corner cutouts allow dirt and debris to passively escape.
Sloping zipper lines for smooth operation and hinged, half-zip opening allows excellent access and visibility while containing the load.
The exterior top pocket provides quick and easy access to smaller items and key leash without setting the bag down. It does not interfere with main compartment and allows keeping the fragile items up high, above the main load. Two vertical rows of webbing at the top of main interior allow you to clip or stow small items like keys, pens, or folding knives.
Right and left shoulder bladder ports have no velcro, no elastic, and no moving parts. They are easy to use and will not break over time.
The logo is compatible with the separately sold Hi-Vis patches. You can attach them quickly by velcro for identifying your bag and adding reflective/fluorecent visibility.

The perfect bag for taking on an extended city break
The Civic Half Zip is a well thought out pack.it has main compartment, side pockets and glasses/keys/odds and sods compartment. I use the main compartment are two zipped sections and a padded laptop sleeve that’s suspended from main compartment. I used the bag as a carry on to plane and then when out and about in Stockholm for 5 days. It’s well thought out bag and probably one of the best that I have had.

Great upgrade from CHZ22
I've been using CHZ22 for a while now. After switching to larger laptop, CHZ26 seemed like natural upgrade. Additional pocket inside is very welcome. Also CAP2 pouch is easier to fit inside when you have water bottle in one of the side pockets. Great pack!

The best bag I ever had
I’m a Highspeed train driver (Thalys & Eurostar) the bags from the employer didn’t work for me, to small , bad materials etc. For the normal shifts and the overnight stay shifts , the CHZ 26L is perfect.
All my needs fit easily in the bag, also my food and drinks.
When not on work, the bag is the perfect all day bag, especially when shopping with the wife. The construction and materials are TOP !!
Rain and dirt isn’t a problem, i impregnated the bag extra , so dirt won’t stick on the bag. I love to use pouches, specifically Topo pouches and the Peak Design tech pouch. They fit perfect in the bag. Comfort is TOP , I like to wear the bag high, the back panel fits perfectly on my back and shoulders. Before this bag I had the Goruck GR1 , I didn’t like that bag because of the material and the comfort to wear.

There's alot to like about this bag!
I will keep it, I will use it.
But! I thing it would be nice if it were 24L, just tighten the dimensions slightly.
Do a coating or something for the hair problem, its a hairmagnet.
When you fill upp the inner front pockets the bag gets kind of floppy/unruly to handle, dont know the solution for this issue thou.
Overall its a nice bag!
